Perfect Keto Vanilla Review
You'd have to be living under a rock to not have heard about the low carb diet by now. It's been around since it was popularized by Dr Atkins in the 90's, with celebrity advocates such as Jennifer Aniston bringing it to the mainstream. Since those days of stuffing yourself with bacon, mayo and sweetener-filled bars, the diet has morphed into the Low Carb High Fat movement and The Ketogenic Diet, a diet that has gained popularity recently thanks to celebrity advocates like The Kardashians, Beyonce and Halle Berry (who uses the diet to manage diabetes).
Is it just another trend, fad or the future of healthy eating? That remains to be seen, but it's sure picking up a lot of interest not only for its weight loss benefits, but mood disorders, epilepsy management, diabetes, cancer support (see Andrew Scarborough who used it as brain therapy) and more. For the average person though, what are the benefits?
I'll let you into a secret: I've been experimenting with this diet for a while, and it certainly causes dramatic changes in body weight and energy levels. Some effects are good whilst others (the Keto Flu!) are horrible. It takes patience and persistence to get through the initial adaptation period where you feel pretty tired and cranky. I eventually gave up because I was tired of being...well, tired during that phase, but I decided to give the diet a try again (having experienced the benefits previously), but this time sing a specific product to make the transition a little gentler.
The magical product to banish Keto Flu? Exogenous Ketones, aka Perfect Keto! A powder containing a mixture of BHB ketone bodies and stevia, that can be conveniently mixed into coffee or shakes.
BHB - SAY WHAT?
BHB is short-hand for "Beta-hydroxybutyrate" - a fuel source produced by the body under conditions such as fasting or following a ketogenic diet that is used for energy by the brain and body. So during the adaptation phase of ketosis this product can give you energy, much in a similar way that drinking coffee gives you a boost, but minus the jitters (although if you enjoy coffee by all means mix some of this in with it!)
The tub contains a powder that looks somewhat like protein powder, but finer in texture and with an inviting vanilla aroma. It comes with a handy measuring scoop so you can add a hefty amount to a shake or coffee (or even tea!), but personally I use smaller teaspoon fulls to make it last longer.
I've been using this for over a month now on and off, and I have to say it definitely works as advertised. Initially when I tried it, I noticed a sense of focus and energy that I don't usually have, and was less distracted while doing my daily tasks. I started using it every morning upon waking and it gave me a nice boost similar to coffee. After a while, I got used to the effects and didn't notice the boost quite as prominently. However it still seemed to be working and I didn't feel as hungry throughout the day, and found it easier to maintain a steady weight. I also started following a low carb diet and this powder made it A LOT easier to transition!
Would I recommend Perfect Keto? Absolutely YES! If you have ever flirted with low carb or ketogenic diets and failed or are just curious, this may be just the thing you need to help your success. I would caution though that it should not take the place of real food or be an excuse to eat lots of junk food whilst using this - that would make it a waste of money. My only gripe with this is the cost. It's very expensive, and although it's cheaper than other exogenous ketone products on the market (which is a godsend in itself), it's still a lot. However a little goes a long way so that's what counts.
Overall - highly recommended to anyone following a low carb diet or looking for a fat loss aid, but only in conjunction with diet.
8.5 out of 10.
